Fabrication and Heat Treatment of C17000 Copper Alloy:

WeldingWelding methods such as soldering, brazing, gas shielded arc welding, coated metal arc welding, spot welding, seam welding and butt welding are preferred for C17000 copper alloys. Oxyacetylene welding is not recommended for this type of alloys.
MachinabilityThe machinability rating of C17000 copper alloys is 20%.
ForgingC17000 copper alloys are forged at temperature ranging from 649 to 816°C (1200 to 1500°F).
Hot WorkingC17000 copper alloys have good hot working property.
Cold WorkingC17000 copper alloys have excellent cold working property.
AnnealingC17000 copper alloys are annealed at temperature ranging from 774 to 802°C (1425 to 1475°F).

CUBERYLLIUM® manufactures copper beryllium in several distinct compositions. These fall into two categories: alloys selected for high strength (Alloys 172,173,170) and alloys selected for high conductivity (Alloys 751,750,741). And Gost standard QBe2,QBe1.9Ti for Russia Market. Also Supply Master alloy : CuBeryllium-200; CuBeryllium-275);CuBeryllium-350 and Cuberyllium-400 to global factory.

CUBERYLLIUM ®-170 also named Cube1.7-C17000 (CDA 170) Beryllium Copper is a lightly alloyed grade of copper, formulated for primary forming into wrought products. CW100C is the EN numeric designation for this material. Alloy170 is the UNS number. Additionally, the EN chemical designation is CuBe1,7. And the British Standard (BS) designation is CB101. Older literature may refer to this material as ASTM Alloy 165, but this is now discouraged.

It has a moderately low electrical conductivity among wrought coppers. In addition, it has a moderately low melting temperature and a moderately low thermal conductivity.
