3000 KW generator load bank for generator UPS testing


Introduction

(1) According to the special requirements of users on site, in the agreement the technical standards of AC4.16KV-3000kW High Voltage Load Bank (hereinafter referred to as "system") and its accessories are proposed including their function, performance, usage, structure, installation and test to provide users with a high efficient and reliable choice, in order to meet the need for generator load test.

(2) The system consists of 1 sets of 3000kW load bank. The system is made up of two parts of measurement & control and load, mainly including the high voltage dry type AC load bank, automatic data acquisition system, automatically loading and unloading control system, the cooling device, auxiliary control, remote control box and PC software and so on.

Application

1 The system is a self-developed device used for electricity load testing by Kaixiang Technology. It perfectly combines the high voltage dry type load module and measurement and control module, precisely test output power and load performance of kinds of generator set.

System mainly consists of resistance load, data collecting, control system, cooling device, etc. The system can test output power and load performance of generator sets.

2 System can load power in rated range, measure generator steady-state 3 phase voltage, current, active power, power factor, frequency, and running time, and simulate the generator set real load working state. Power input using sectional type, energy dissipation type load, forced-air cooling, 3 phase fan decentralized supply air, air-flow is sufficient and low noise.

3 System can work with PC software to realize intelligent operation, automatically finish the parameters testing, and create testing data table, curves and reports that can be printed, reduce a lot of manual operation.

Main features

(1) The container is made by professional container manufacturer, which ensures that the production is strictly in accordance with the container’ manufacturing practice and relevant standards.

(2) The load bank adopts standard container, the overall error of fixing hole is ±2 cm, so that the container can reach the requirements in transportation and storage. The internal structure is a special design, which is divided into independent connection, resistance module, fan cooling, special insulation and so on.

(3) Container load bearing is designed in accordance with container design code. When detecting, use the special thickness gauge TT100 to detect the error of material thickness and design drawing, to ensure that the overall structure of the container meets the requirements of the load bearing. In general, the actual total weight of the load is only about 10T, only 1/3 of the load-bearing design, can ensure the safety and reliability of hoisting and moving.

(4) The load bank is made in container type, with hanging ring on top of container, easy to hoist and transport. There are processes of anti corrosion, anti salty spray and anti fungal according to requirement of easy sea-transported container. The case is sanded and derusted, sprayed with thermo-stable insulating coat, and sprayed with ship special paint outside. Considering cooling, hoisting transportation, components distribution and so on, load bank is treated with over heat and hot-dip galvanizing process, inner paint with high temperature paint. Bolts connect support brackets and bank. Components are well-distributed; each module is distributed with uniformity to make sure the proper weight distribution and cooling.
