  • Process Features

- Process concept

  • The process design has been optimized, which means the evaluation of power consumption versus investment cost based on the basis of design condition.

  • Entire low pressure adsorption type purification by molecule sieve, air booster compression, LP expansion turbine with booster breaker, O2/N2 internal compress pumps, Internal oxygen compression cycle, which has the benefit of replacing external oxygen compression facilities and as such increases plant safety and availability.

  • Air recycle by air booster provides the heating fluid for the internally compressed products.

  • After the main air compressor the air is cooled in a direct contact air cooler supplied with chilled water, which is cooled in an evaporation cooler.

  • To allocate LIN injection pipeline for quick startup ASU plants.

- Machinary and Equipment Concept

  • A state of the rectifying column system is used containing a double column system and auxiliary crude argon column system with structured packing in the pressure column, in the low pressure column and in the crude argon column .

  • The cold box assembly is of modular design with separate cold box modules for heat exchangers and pressure column / low pressure column.

  • Personnel protective measurements shall be taken in the case that operation people is possible to suffer from extreme temperature, rotating parts or other process influence.

  • Safety for moleculer sieve adsorber system:

  • Highly effective, high mechanical strength new type moleculer

  • Each cycle of moleculer sieve regeneration is complete, no more special regeneration, No CO2 can puncture;

  • High strength: After moisture adsorption, will not reduce its intensity to form softly;

  • Vertical radial two layers adsorber is used;

  • The two layers bed structure is simple, molecular sieve will not be fluidization as the structure, preventthe molecular sieve be blew over turns;

  • Air flow be distributed equally,the windwardface is big, the resistance is small, to save power consumption, and to lengthen service life of molecular sieve;

  • Regeneration gas pass from inside to outsite, no thermal load, less heat loss;

  • Outside piping design is easy, Simplify engineering design and piping material;

  • The area is small, advantageous for the air seperation plant arrangement

  • 3 lever valve is used for switch valve,safeguard service life of molecular sieve adsorber system.

  • The main condenser / reboilers of bath type with full flooded design and inherent safe level.

  • Material within the column is mainly aluminum and welded. Flange connections are avoided as far as possible.

  • Avoiding dead angle of piping and equipment during design calculation, eliminating the possibility of hydrocarbon enrichment after LOX boil away;

  • LOX internal compress, oxygen production be drew as liquid status, minimize the possibility of hydrocarbon and N2O enrichment in condenser by eject hydrocarbon and N2O continuously.

  • Full bath type condenser/evaporator can prevent enrichment of harmful substance efficiently;

  • Live and on-line analyse and surveillance of N2O rate in CB, alarm once exceeds the set point;

  • Live and on-line analyse and surveillance of hydrocarbon rate for LOX in main condenser, alarm once exceeds the set point;

  • Back-up supply of Oxygen products in case of plant failure.

  • Back-up supply of Nitrogen products in case of plant failure.
