The screw in thermistor measures the temperature by using the characteristic that the resistance of the material changes with the change of temperature. When there is a temperature gradient in the measured medium, the measured temperature is the average temperature in the medium where the temperature sensing element is located.

Industrial screw in thermistor is mainly composed of junction box, protection tube, terminal block, insulated porcelain post and temperature sensing element, and is equipped with various installation and fixing devices.

1) Temperature sensing element: imported thin film platinum resistance PT100 temperature sensing element.

2) Protection tube: according to the type of thermal resistance, the measured medium condition and the measured temperature, the protection tube made of different materials is selected. The protection tube of thermal resistance is generally made of carbon steel, various brands of stainless steel, alloy steel and other materials.

3) Junction box: the junction box of thermal resistance is used to connect the display instrument of temperature sensing element. It is generally made of aluminum alloy and stainless steel, and can be divided into flameproof type, waterproof type and small splash proof type.

4) Wiring board: the wiring board of thermal resistance is generally made of ceramics, which is installed in the junction box and is the signal output end of thermal resistance. It is divided into single branch and double branch.

5) Installation and fixing device: the thermal resistance installation and fixing device is used by users for installation and fixing. It can be divided into non fixing device, fixed thread, movable flange and fixed flange.
