Main properties and applications of fluorine rubber from the main

1. Oil, solvent and chemical resistance
Compared with methyl vinyl silicone rubber, fluorine silicone
rubber has excellent oil, solvent and chemical resistance. Even

2. Heat resistance
The pyrolysis of fluorosilicone rubber is the same as that of
silicone rubber, i.e. side chain oxidation, main chain fracture,
side chain thermal decomposition and various compound reactions.
Due to the main chain of the breakdown products can also cause
fracture, so heat resistance is less than silicone rubber, usually
under the temperature of 200 ℃ has started to oxidative aging. But
by adding iron, titanium and rare earth oxides can make them get a
small amount of heat stabilizer improved significantly, even at 250
℃ high temperature also has enough heat resistance. The effect of
temperature on fluorosilicone rubber is larger than that of
