Summary Report for December 2006

 

• During this month the security situation was completely unstable in Gaza as the previous month. The IOF caused to kill many Palestinians civilians.
• The Palestinians killed many Palestinians during this month (Violence between Fatah and Hamas) If we compare between the Palestinians were killed by the Israelis, and the Palestinians were killed by Palestinians  we found that the second number more than the first .
• The terrible crime that cased the death of the three brother’s kids, Baha ba’loushe’s children in Gaza when they were in their way to the school . 
• As a result of the repeated closures of the crossing, the economic conditions in the Gaza Strip have deteriorated.
• Cease fire took place in the past few days according to the Palestinian sources, the PHRMG appreciating such a step and wishing to bring some quite to the region, the PHRMG hopes that Israel will expect a such step and to implemented on the West Bank.

Summary Report for Year 2006

 

• This year was worse than 2005 not only the security situation was completely unstable, but also the wall caused separation between the occupied territories itself.
• During this year the Palestinians killed many Palestinians, but more than 2005, If we compare between both years we found that 2006 (166) more than 2005(99).
• At the end of this year (December) The violence between (Fattah and Hama’s) caused the worry and the fear in the Palestinian society, especially the terrible crime that cased death of the three brothers’ kids.
• In Gaza the situation was unstable, since the kidnapping of the Israeli solder (Jila’ad shalit) in 25.06.2006 the IOF killed 406 Palestinian only from Gaza. But the total martyrs in 2006 are 680 from all districts.
